Carmen holds a 500-hour YTT and began practicing yoga in 2020 during the pandemic. What started as a way to pass the time soon became a central part of her life and a deeper exploration of the body, mind, and self.
She studied Hatha yoga with her first teacher for three years before moving cities, where she discovered the Ashtanga tradition. The discipline, structure, and commitment to self-practice resonated deeply with her, and Ashtanga quickly felt like home. In 2026, Carmen travelled to Mysore, India, deepening her understanding of traditional Ashtanga practice and the philosophy behind it.
For Carmen, yoga extends beyond the physical practice. It is an ongoing inquiry into the deeper meaning of life, the nature of the self, and what lies beyond what we can see and understand.
Today, Carmen shares her passion by creating a supportive and welcoming space where students can deepen their practice, connect with themselves, and explore the many dimensions of yoga.
